Initially destined to be part of our personal collection, this car proved to be extremely popular across our social media channels and our live events, so, due to the overwhelming response we had to offer it as a competition car. A one-family classic, we bought our Volvo from the son of the original owner, who sadly passed away a few years ago.
Our 240GL is in all original condition, even down to the blue, pinstriped seat covers which were put on the day it was bought to protect the interior of this solid, dependable icon of a car.
It has had a full repaint at the Bridge Classic Cars paint shop and is finished in polar white with blue/black interior. It has been exceptionally well looked after and loved by its previous owners, covering just over 78,000 miles in its lifetime… barely run-in for a Volvo.
Our 1987 Volvo 240GL comes with a vast history of servicing and MOT. The original owner kept the car regularly serviced and any work needed for MOTs was completed straight away and to the highest standard. His son carried on this level of care and attention meaning our 240GL is a true symbol of how good these cars can be.
