Our Land Rover Series IIA is the ultimate off-road classic and is the original adventure-mobile. It’s been freshly kitted out ready for your adventures with a newly rebuilt gearbox, new canvas and recent service.

It’s been exactly 60 years since the Series IIA was released and it still has its original power and authenticity in-tact. Whilst these vehicles are known for being glamorised tractors, nothing beats them in terms of authentic adventure. The Series IIA retained the civilian simplicity of the Series I whilst fine-tuning the styling, updating the suspension and adding a larger 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine.

Our Series IIA comes with desirable overdrive and free wheeling hubs which makes it unique for motors from the time. Punctuated by bulbous tail lights and elongated mud flaps, this classic motor has been designed from head to tail to be at heart of exploration. The thrill of adventure and discovery became a fundamental piece of the Land Rover story.

Land Rovers have now become synonymous with adventure, camping and an outdoor lifestyle, however, they were originally designed as agriculture work-horses. Over the decades, they’ve gained a duality between agriculture and adventure.

With their simple and honest mechanics, Land Rovers have gained love for their mechanical purity.

This iconic vehicle is reminiscent of the golden era of exploration and was often seen leading the charge on the silver screen. As a post war utility vehicle, it was created due to a surplus of aluminium which aided its lightweight construction. With America’s Jeeps taking the 4×4 lead across in the pond the post-war era, Land Rover Series and the later Land Rover Defenders stood for the UK’s iconic off-roading vehicle.

Find yourself at the heart of adventure, living the Land Rover dream. Enter today for your chance of winning.
