The MGB GT is a staple of British classic car culture. The most sold British GT car ever made, it has scores of fans and enthusiasts who preserve, care for, and enjoy these wonderful pieces of British motoring history. This 1974 MGB GT is one of those meticulously maintained cars.

This particular car has been in the care of its previous owner for the best part of 30 years. In that time, he diligently cared for and maintained this beautiful example of the fastback MGB. The car is finished in a deep red/maroon with a beige leather interior and matching maroon piping.

During the previous owners’ time with the car, is has been stored and kept in the dry which has helped keep the car’s amazing aesthetic condition. Mechanically, the car is also in superb condition throughout and this MGB GT has had some upgrades carried out to the car over its life, it was fitted with an aftermarket immobiliser in 2003 and in 2010 an electronic ignition was installed on the car.

The car comes complete with an extensive history file that the previous owner kept for the car. The pack contains notes and receipts for work carried out on the car dating back to 1989 (previous owner bought in 1997 and continued the fastidious record keeping) with photographic evidence of body and mechanical repairs carried out by specialists with independent written inspections completed afterwards.
