If there is one vehicle that has become an icon for its off-roading capabilities, it is the Land Rover Defender.
With a long and storied history dating all the way back to the 1940s, the Defender has been a part of military, working, and family life for decades. Each one has its own character and quirks but, what every Defender has in common, is its toughness and its ability to take you wherever you need to go no matter what terrain is ahead of you.
Our 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 is as tough as it looks. It has been equipped with multiple add-ons that have created a very capable off-roading machine. If you’re still unsure of how tough our Defender is, it’s former owner is TV adventurer and explorer Ed Stafford and he loved it.
Ed is known for being able to survive in some of the harshest natural environments on the planet. From setting the world record for being the first person to ever walk the length of the Amazon River from source to sea, to living in complete isolation on an uninhabited Pacific Island for 60 days – Ed Stafford is as tough as they come.
Survival expert Ed loved this car and its easy to see why. It perfectly matches his abilities to do things that others simply can’t. Even when the Defender was taken from Ed’s garden and stripped of multiple components, Ed rebuilt it and it’s now looking better than ever.
Featured in the January edition of Land Rover Monthly, our Defender has become a well-known vehicle in the Land Rover community.
Since being in the Bridge Classic Cars workshop, our 2015 Land Rover Defender has had its paintwork improved in areas such as the roof, wheel arches, bonnet, and doors. It has also had new checker plates fitted so it is looking stylish and cool as well as being a rugged utility vehicle.
The 7 seats and ample boot space make our Defender perfectly suited to family life too, and not just wild adventures.
