This special car was kindly donated by Lotus Cars, with all of the proceeds going to the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation charity, enabling them to provide vital services for people with disabilities.
Production of the iconic Lotus Elise is ending after 25 years on the road; this is your chance to win the very first VIN number Final Edition Lotus Elise. The competition winner received an exclusive handover day at Lotus Cars headquarters in Hethel, Norfolk that will include a private factory tour and test track experience.
The highlights of the Sport 240 Final Edition Elise include a digital TFT instrument panel, a “Final Edition” badge, a redesigned steering wheel and new seat panels and decorative stitching. The engine calibration of the Sport 240 has been improved so that the output has increased to 240 hp compared to the previous Sport 220. The exclusivity of these rare models has lead to unbelievably high demand and they will undoubtedly be a classic of the future. All Final Edition Elises have already been spoken for; this very car is number one off the production line, making this Elise all the more special. The prize car comes with a customised certificate of provenance pack and is the first production car to be fitted with a new bespoke Lotus car cover.
Jake Humphrey, TV presenter and trustee of the Community Sports Foundation was on hand to unveil the car in Hethel and further explain the significance of the competition:
“This is an incredible prize; all of the final edition Elise cars have been snapped up, so this is the only way to get your hands on one.”
“As a trustee of the Community Sports Foundation I have seen first-hand the importance of their work and the impact it has on people in Norfolk, and by entering this competition you can help us to keep that work going.”
Congratulations to Alex Juggins, winner with ticket number 4970.
